Nice place: not simple but sober, not elegant but still distinguished. The staff were also pleasant: smiling and efficient. The service is fast and professional, as well as smiling and youthful thanks to the very kind Alessia. However, keeping in mind that I have eaten here several times, but in winter, when Torvaianica is very rarely visited. In the summer I imagine things might be different.The place is very small (less than 20 seats in the internal room) and with tables that are a little too small in size. However, it uses a comfortable external glass-enclosed veranda. And then there are also the outdoor tables, where it is often pleasant to eat even in winter... rain and wind permitting, even if there are large umbrellas adequate to withstand light rain.The cuisine hinges on "torvicello", the product that gives the restaurant its name. It is a recently traditional artisanal pasta (it was "invented" here in Torvaianica in 2003) to which the European Union has already recognized the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). It looks like a short square spaghetti, made with ingredients (25% wholemeal flour, 25% spelled flour and 50% 00 white flour, mixed with water only) which make it perfect for enhancing strong and rustic flavours. Ideal, therefore, with traditional Roman sauces (gricia, carbonara, amatriciana and similar) or with seafood products with more savory flavors (anchovies, sardines and other oily fish) or made so by the addition of other ingredients (mushrooms, pesto , various flavourings). Personally I tried all the torvicelli included in the menu (see photo) and found them very good.The second courses are also excellent, all seafood. In particular, I appreciated the fried food: perfect, without the slightest aftertaste of over-fried or over-used oil (but, I repeat, in winter and with little demand for fried food: we'll see in summer).The place is perfectly accessible. The toilet is one for men, women and disabled people, but still to be appreciated, because it is well maintained (clean), as well as large and equipped even for disabled people in wheelchairs.

A nice discovery, I passed by the place dozens of times, then a friend told me that the food was very good, what can I say, I really appreciated everything, food, service, quality, I'll post the photos even if the taste especially of the torvicelli pasta, cheese and pepper with tuna and fried artichokes, dish of the day is not perceptible from the photograph, fair price.

Very nice bistro with quality cuisine without forgetting the quantity so appreciated by us Romans. The traditional torchrello mare e monti is excellent and the mixed frying is truly spectacular. The one with prawns and fresh burrata is sublime. Absolutely recommended to return

Excellent experience. Friendly staff, very well organized and attentive to customer needs. Excellent food, quality ingredients and well presented dishes. The Torvicelli are worth trying in different variations, we tried the tuna and prawn carbonara, burrata with cherry tomatoes.....all excellent. Even the frying, perfect. We will return, furthermore the place is located in the center of Torvaianica, near the square where there is live music.Considering the quality and service, the prices are absolutely normal.

I was on the day of the Epiphany, the staff were very kind, smiling, and above all they always satisfied us with a smile on their faces. Excellent food, well-seasoned torvicelli, excellent second courses, we had a tuna Cacciatore and 2 fried dishes. We will definitely be back.

Cozy and reserved environment inside with air conditioning, tables also outside.We ate quality and fresh fish, well cooked and sublime in flavour. Abundant dishes.Perfect table service at the right times between the various dishes.A great experience, we will definitely be back.
